About the Working with Pictures Tutorial

Including pictures in your Relational Presentation materials is absolutely essential. Pictures can play at least 16 different roles during interactive PowerPoint performances, and you need to know and use them all. Pictures might provide sources for hyperlinks or add decoration to slides. Pictures can be content, literally saying things to the audience beyond what the presenter says verbally. Pictures make marvelous visual clues. They might form analogies and metaphors, give examples, simplify or obscure meaning, and more.

This tutorial is approximately one hour long and covers everything you need to know about working with pictures in PowerPoint, in preparation for starting other Aspire tutorials. We recommend completing this session after the shapes tutorial, but before any of the other offerings, especially the navigation tutorials. The skills mastered here are foundational and will help you learn those topics faster.
