When signing up for Web-based Relational Presentation training, choose one of two options:
Workshops
Video workshop sessions teach a well-rounded, full course of Relational Presentation skills and are ideal for new learners wishing to completely master interactive presentation. The course is divided into sessions (eleven in all), each of which lasts approximately an hour. Sessions are grouped by level. Level 1 (two sessions) focuses on basic PowerPoint operations and other core concepts that should be mastered before starting Relational Presentation training. Level 2 (four sessions) covers basic Relational Presentation design. Level 3 (five sessions) explores advanced Relational Presentation design. Full descriptions of the workshop levels can be found HERE. For a preview of what you'll get, watch the two sample video segments on the menu at left. Lesson plans are available for both PowerPoint 2003 and PowerPoint 2007. Once registered, your access to sessions does not expire.
Tutorials
If your goal is to learn individual Relational Presentation concepts, one at at time, choose video tutorial options instead of workshops. Tutorials are a-la-carte selections from the full Relational Presentation workshop courses and are a popular way of learning specific navigation styles. For example, perhaps you complete Level 2 workshop sessions, and then wish to learn Nested navigation without registering for Level 3. The Nested navigation tutorial provides the needed information, in a fast and economical way. We recommend finishing the three primary tutorials (Shapes, Pictures, and Hyperlinks) before starting the navigation tutorials. The primary tutorials teach prerequisite skills. Alternatively, complete the Level 2 workshop sessions before starting the navigation tutorials. Also note that tutorials are available in PowerPoint 2007 format only. Once registered, your access to tutorial sessions does not expire.
